Shop and dwelling. Early to mid C17. Timber-frame and plaster;
plain tile gable roof with fishscale bands. 3-storeys and
attic; 1-window range: C20 mullion and transom casement window
flanked by small lights; chevron baced panels. Similar light
over, with chevron braced and cusped quarter braced panels;
gable has blocked window. Jettied with moulded bressummers on
enriched consoles at 2nd and 3rd floor levels; enriched barge
boards and pendant. Right return has C20 lights to 1st and 2nd
floors. Late C19 shopfront with central glazed door recessed
between rounded returned windows; enriched consoles. All under
deep overhang on cast-iron columns. Passage to left leads to
half glazed early C19 door in plain case with chamfered stucco
architrave, in C19 brick wall. Rear gable: C20 render and
casements, French windows.
