Houses, now bank. C18 front to C17 core. Stucco; slate roof to
front, C20 plain tile to rear. 3-storeys; 5-window range: C20,
6/6 sashes in broad beaded cases, to 1st and 2nd floors; deep
moulded cornice and modillioned eaves cornice. Ground floor
has C20 entrance and fenestration, under moulded cornice.
Return to Market Street: 3-storeys and attic; C17
timber-frame, with stucco to ground floor; 2-window range:
C20, 4-light casements in box framing with passing-braces, and
central enriched console under jetty; similar 2nd floor;
returned eaves cornice; C20, 2-light casement over. Ground
floor has two 3-light windows with casements. INTERIOR:
retains massive plates and ceiling beams. Large, late C19
gable wing to rear: brick with plain tile roof; gable to east
with C19 mullion light, with glazing bars and cambered heads;
large joists and timber plate visible in rear gable; C20
fenestration to west front.
