House. Early C18, extended c1840. Render, extension has
snecked rubble with limestone dressings, pantile double-pile
hipped roofs. Double-depth plan with right-hand projecting
extension. 2 storeys; 4-window range. Semi-circular doorway
and fanlight, C20 sashes in flush boxes, and parapet. Taller
C19 projecting wing has a 3-light ground-floor bay with a
balustrade, rounded ends and thick mullions and transoms, with
stained glass to the upper lights, tripartite first-floor
windows and 3-light mullion windows below the eaves. INTERIOR:
large central hall and C20 straight-flight stair, panelled
shutters and C19 fireplaces.
