Steam crane. 1875. By Stothert and Pitt. Steel. A rotating
steam-powered crane with a rectangular shell enclosing the
engine, boiler and winding gear, with 2 iron 10-pane windows
to the sides and rear and paired 12-pane windows to the front,
and a curved box-section jib. Considered to be the only
operational steam crane of the Fairbairn type in the country.
