Smithy, now workshop. Probably late C18, with later alteration
and extension. Coursed rubble stone, with brick buttresses;
pantile roofs, with brick end stacks to forge; smithy has
catslide roof. 2-hearth forge with smithy attached. 1-storey
2-window front to forge, with 1-storey 1-bay projecting smithy
to left. Entrance through original smithy now closed by board
doors. Forge has two 2-light windows inserted beneath heavy
timber lintels. Included for group value.
