House, now shop. Late C18, with C19 alteration. Painted brick
in stretcher bond, with moulded timber eaves cornice, and
right end and left-of-centre brick stacks to pantile roof.
3-storeys-and-attic; 3-window front. Double shop front and
single shop window on ground floor. Shop front has paired
pilaster surround, with half-glazed door recessed between
canted plate-glass windows; single plate-glass shop window in
plain surround, to left. First floor windows are 16-pane
sashes, that to left tripartite between 4-pane sashes, with
painted wedge lintels. Inserted 8-pane light with painted
stone sill in centre of second floor. 2 gabled dormers with
large-pane windows to attic. INTERIOR: cast-iron column in
corner of shop window to left of shop door.
