Chest tomb. Henry WELLING d.1770, and others. Sandstone. Flat
ledger slab to moulded edges, raised panels long sides; floral
drops to inset ends with moulded frieze and base, all on
moulded base. Inscriptions also include Harriot (sic)
Kingsbury WELLING d.1794 aged 3 months and Henry WELLING
d.1794 aged 3 years. An early use of sandstone; monuments
generally in limestone until the early C19.
