House and shop. Core probably C16, mid C18 facade. Timber framed core, colour washed brick facade with flat parapet; modern concrete pantiled roof. 2 storeys. 5 window range, sashes with glazing bars in flush frames, flat brick arches; central doorway with 6-panel door, raised and fielded panels, the upper 2 panels glazed, fluted pilasters, enriched frieze and cornice. To right hand side a fine early C19 shopfront with 2 slightly bowed 16-panel windows, sunk pilasters (originally with decorative infilling), frieze and dentil cornice; inset doorway with glazed door and rectangular fanlight with diagonal glazing bars; the original internal mechanical window blind system survives. Timber framed and plastered wing to rear restored early 1980s.
