The Temple in Crow Nest
Park, 200 yards south of
Crow Nest House

Summer house or temple. Mid to late C18. Ashlar. Single cell
square building with basement. Round arched recess in each face with
window (blocked) on continuous sill band, and one doorway. All with
chambranles and pulvinated frieze and triangular pediment on small
consoles. Heavy eaves cornice and blocking course. Doorway is
reached by stone steps under which is doorway into basement.
