Shop. Mid C19. Red brick, painted facade, slated roof. 2 storeys and attic. 4
window range, 1:3, inset sashes with glazing bars, flat stucco arches, centre
blank panel to right hand side, attic window to left hand side. Late C19 shop
front to right hand side framed by a pair of cast iron Ionic pilasters; 2 8-
pane shop windows, inset doorway with glazed double doors and rectangular
fanlight. Mid C20 shop window to left hand side. Right hand return front
(facing entrance gate to Cockfield Hall) with neo Tudor facade of 3 crowstepped
gables and a range of 4-centre arched 2-light windows with Y tracery; attached
is a single storey lodge matching the one opposite (q.v); the facade has been
altered and the pinnacles to the gables are missing.
