Handed pair of cottages. Early C18. Well-coursed gritstone; stone slate roof
to No 1, C20 pantile roof to No 2. 2 storeys. 2 single cells. 4 bays. Outer
bays have doorways with depressed Tudor-arched lintels, composite jambs, stop-
chamfered surround. Central 2 bays have a former 3-light window to each floor
with plain stone surrounds (lack mullions). Coped gable with kneelers to right
only. Central square brick stack. Rear has mid-C20 brick outshut with lean-to
roof set under 2 former 2-light windows. Left-hand return rendered.
