Road bridge over River Avon. 1820 by J. Peniston. Brick with
cast-iron railings. Three segmental arches with stone cutwaters,
balustrade has cast-iron stick balusters, attached to limestone
piers with weathered cappings, at either end. Stone tablet on
south side with date 1820. C20 wooden footway on north side, over
river. Plans at Wiltshire Records Office.
