The Mount House
GV II
Outbuilding, former house. C16, timber-frame and red brick with
rubble stone base. Stone slate roof, half-hipped to south. Square
framed with angle braces, three bays. East side has two small
leaded windows and door below, one unglazed window above. North
end has exposed framing, and tie-beam and collar truss. South ends
has rubble stone addition. West side is mostly rebuilt with
imitation framing.
Interior: three-bay roof with two pairs of wind braces on east
side. Floor across two bays with large chamfered and stopped
beams.
