Farmhouse, early C17 refurbished and refronted early C18, stone
rubble, brick front on stone plinth with stone quoins and
dressings. Ashlar porch, stone slate roofs. 2 storey and attics,
2 storey porch to cross passage across end of hall. Stair behind
stack at passage end. 9 bays with slightly projecting symmetrical
wings. Parallel rear block probably C17. Elevation: tall 12-
pane sashes in stone architraves with entablatures. Hollow moulded
eaves.
Interior: many panelled rooms, bolection moulded panelling on
landing. Shell niches in rear parlour. Hall fireplace with
moulded surround. Chamfered ceiling beams. C18 open well stair.
Gilded chimney piece formerly in house removed to Longford Castle.
Arms of Moore and Dancastle.
