Chest tomb. Early C19. Limestone marlstone and possibly Coade stone. Rectangular
chest, standing on a marlstone plinth which formerly held railings, has a
moulded base and cover and has raised inscription panels to all sides. Standing
on the cover, flanked by flat scrolls, is a square pedestal supporting a draped
vase with a flaming finial. Inscriptions commemorate various members of the
Woolston family, the earliest of whom (Thomas) died in 1808.
