It stands at the west end of a large fish pond and was probably the fishing
lodge of Tendring Hall. An early C19 stuccoed building with a square
main block with a large canted bay on the west front and 2 sloping roofed
wings on the north and south. The east front is 2 storeyed. 3 window
range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars. Roof slate, low pitched,
with a wide overhanging modillion eaves soffit.
