House, C18 with possible earlier main block, refurbished early C19.
Chalkstone, flint and sarsen. Tiled roof. 2-storey and attics,
with semi basement dairy. 4 bays, extended left by narrow bay over
former lean-to, and rear wing, C18, also of 4 bays. Central
through stair hall with flanking reception rooms. Paired 12-pane
sashes under segmental brick heads. Central door within gabled
porch. Cogged eaves. Gable stacks and 5 gabled dormers on main
block.
Interior has fireplace in left room with scratched date I W 1783.
Slender cambered collars to roof trusses.
