Former Inn, now house and solicitor's office. Circa 1710 with
early C19 alterations and extensive internal C20 re-ordering.
Colourwashed render to west front, coursed rubble to rear range
with stone dressings and gabled stone slate roof with end brick
stacks. L-shaped plan. Two-storey, 3-window west front.
Ground floor windows are wide 12-pane sashes in blocked surrounds,
upper windows are narrow early C18 eighteen-pane sashes in similar
surrounds. Central doorway with stone shell hood on ornately
carved brackets and 6-panel C20 door. Rusticated quoins and
moulded coved cornice which develops into a proto-pediment above
the central upper window.
