Public house. Early C17 with early C2iJ alterations. False timber-framing with
roughcast panels, probably on timber-framing; C20 plain-tile roof; brick ridge
stack to left of centre, end stack to right. Single storey and attic; 3-window
range. C20 sash doors to left and right of centre with lean-to hoods on wood
brackets. 2-light casements to left and to left of centre. c20 three-light
casements to centre and right. Gabled dormer to left. Gabled half-dormers to
centre and right. Interior: noted as being of cruck construction. Much
timber-framing visible to ground floor.
