Farmhouse, now house. C15 wing to rear, C16 front range. Painted brick plinth;
small timber-framing with painted brick infill; old plain-tile hipped roof:
brick ridge stack to left of centre, end stack to end of C15 wing to rear right.
L plan, 2 storeys and attic: 3-window range, C19 casements, except C18 wood
cross-window to first floor right, with leaded lights. Right return: rendered
plinth; small timber-framing, with some renewed timber, to ground floor, and to
first floor left, having brick infill; close-studded timber-framing to first
floor right with rendered infill. 2-storeys and attic; 3-window range, 6-panel
door to left of centre, with over-light. Irregular fenestration of C19
casements. 2 gabled full dormers. Interior; early C19 straight-flight staircase
from ground to first floor at right. Wood winder staircase from first floor to
attic at right. Double Queen-post roof, with some alterations, having 2 rows of
windbraces. Deeply moulded spine and cross-beams to ground floor of C15 portion,
Deeply-moulded spine beam to first floor of its portion, now bedroom, with
chamfered joists having end stops. Chamfered joists having end stops to
adjoining bathroom.
