Bowood estate cottage, early C19, rubble stone with thatched half
hipped roof and brick ridge stack. 1 1/2 storeys. Two first floor
paired casements over ground floor triple casement and roof swept
down to right over 2-bay verandah with door within. Canted bay on
north end wall. Casement pair each floor on south end. Similar to
cottages at Ratford Hill (q.v.) and Sandy Lane (Calne Without
C.P.).
