Bowood estate cottage, early C19, painted rubble stone with half-
hipped thatched roof and off-centre pair of diagonal ashlar stacks.
l 1/2 storeys, flush quoins, stone mullion.windows. One central
eyebrow over 2-light window, ground floor 3-light with hoodmould to
left and cambered-head door with gabled timber hood to right. Left
end wall has 2-light with hoodmould each floor. Rear lean-to.
Similar to cottages at Sandy Lane (Calne Without C.P.).
