Rectory, now detached house. C17, rebuilt late C18. Dressed
limestone, tiled roof, gable end stone stacks with moulded
cappings, coped verges. L-plan. Two-storey, 5-window symmetrical
front. Central door with 6 fielded panels with semi-circular
fanlight in pedimented porch with engaged Tuscan columns, 12-pane
sash either side. First floor has central Venetian window with
sashes and 12-pane sashes either side. Left return has French
windows with transom light. C20 twelve-pane sash to first floor,
2-storey rear wing to left has 2-light and 3-light casements,
hipped roof. Right return is windowless, but to right is 2-
storey rear wing with casements. Rear wing to right consists of
two parallel ranges, long range to left has casements and one 3-
light mullioned casement with elliptical-headed lights and cusped
spandrels. Interior partly inaccessible at time of survey (April
1986), but front late C18 range has doors with 6 fielded panels in
moulded architraves, rear stair hall has fluted pilasters, open
well stairs with cast-iron rod balusters and wreathed handrail.
