Two cottages. Probably late C17. Coursed regular ironstone rubble with
thatched roofs. No. 1 on left: Single-unit cottage has brick end stack on left
on stone base. Single storey plus attic. Entrance in gable end to road.
3 wooden casements to ground floor have wooden lintels, one with ovolo
moulding. Single 2-light casement to attic, partly in thatch. Interior: Ground
floor room has ovolo moulded beam and chamfered joists. No. 2 to right:
2-unit, single stormy plus attic. One brick end stack on left, another on
ridge to right of door. Central C20 door flanked by two 3-light casements,
the one on the left C20; three eyebrow dormers to attic have 3-light
casements. Interior not inspected.
