House, late C17, rough rendered rubble stone with stone tiled roof,
coped gables and end wall stacks. Two-and-a-half storeys, L plan.
Row of 4 dormer gables set to left, moulded coping, ball finials
and ovolo-moulded 2-light stone-mullion windows with hoodmoulds.
5-window range to main floors, ovolo-moulded mullion and transom
windows to first flobr and ground floor right (one ground floor
window renewed). Ground floor left has 2 bead-moulded sash
windows. Fine central bolection moulded doorcase with shell hood
on scroll brackets and Scrope arms. 6-panel door. Rear range of
one storey and attic, south side dormer gable with 12-pane sash
over 2 ovolo-moulded 2-light windows with hoodmoulds.
Interior: rear staircase with closed string, twisted balusters and
acorn finials to newels. Front left room has late C18 plaster
frieze with honeysuckle motif and original colouring. Adam-style
fireplace possibly replica.
