TL 97 NE MARKET WESTON THE STREET

House. Early C17 and later. 2 storeys: L-shaped form; basic 2-cell end-
chimney plan to main range. Timber-framed and rendered; plaintiled roof with
wide eaves overhang. At the junction between the front and rear ranges, a
large internal chimney-stack with 4 early C19 ornate shafts of moulded white
brick, each different; at the north end of the main range a single round early
C19 shaft of moulded white brick to the chimney-stack. 3-light ovolo-moulded
mullion-and-transome windows to both storeys of main range, with a similar 2-
light window above the central doorway. Plank door; enclosed C20 gabled
porch with half-glazed door. 3-light ovolo-moulded mullion-and-transome
windows to ground storey of rear wing, and windows with a similar form but C18
mouldings to upper storey; pintle hinges.
