Farmhouse. Late C16 with a mid-C19 extension. Timber framed with
colourwashed render and a pantile roof, originally thatched. Yard front:
to the ground floor at left of centre is a lean-to C20 porch with glazed
walls and brick plinth. To left of this is a 3-light casement and to right
a 3-light C20 casement. To the first floor are two 2-light, a 3-light and
a single-light casements. To the ridge at left of centre above the doorway
is a chimney stack with a massive base and 4 clustered octagonal flues
above moulded bases. The right hand gable end is of brick and has a double
gable. To the ground floor are 2 cambered-headed 3-light casements and to
the first floor are 2 four-light cambered-headed casements. The left hand
side also has two gable ends, that of the C16 range projecting at right
with a 4-light ground floor window with cambered head and a 3-light first
floor window. Recessed and at left is the end of the C19 range which has a
3-light ground floor casement and to the first floor a 4-light window of
similar width. Rear: brick walling, of 2 bays near-symmetrically disposed
with a 5-panel door, the lower 2 panels flush, the central one raised and
fielded and the upper 2 glazed. To either side of this are 3-light
casements to the ground floor with cambered heads. To the first floor at
either side are 4-light casements with a central 2-light casement.

Interior: chamfered ceiling beams to the ground floor and first floors of
the C16 range with close studded walling at first floor level to the front
wall.
