Mid C19. Typical late classical and Italianate Victorian large suburban villa.
Ashlar 2 storeys. Asymmetrical with service wing at rear. Entrance front has
central projecting porch with double piers, having Corinthian caps, to dentil cornice
and blocking course. Band over ground floor. Late glazed sash windows. Paired
round headed windows on 1st floor to outside; central window, set in panel and
flanked by 2 sets of Corinthian pilasters, opens to parapet over porch. The south
front has a large 2 storey 3 light bow to left. French windows on ground floor
with architraves and scrolled brackets to band. Pilasters to 1st floor windows.
The west front has grouped round headed windows on 1st floor, a conservatory on
ground floor and a large flat bow to left. Low pitched hipped slate roofs overall
with wide eaves.
