Farmhouse. Early C17. L shape plan with an additional shorter rear wing
parallel to the first. Timber framed and plastered, original brick south gable
end to front range, later brick casing to north gable; plaintiles to front
range, pantiles to main rear wing. 2 storeys and attic. Fine facade: C18 3-
light casement windows with square leaded panes; doorway with original 2 storey
open porch with turned balusters to side openings and overhanging first floor
supported on carved brackets; original oak doorframe and door. External stack
to south gable with sawtooth brickwork to top; the main rear wing has an
internal stack with similar ornamentation.
