Farmhouse. C16 core with later additions and C18 facade; original roof
destroyed by fire 1980. Timber framed core, mostly cased in red brick
(formerly colourwashed), some modern render to rear; plaintiled roof. 2
storeys and attic. 3 bay facade, the centre bay set forward: 2-light and 3-
light casement windows, segmental arches; central doorway with 6-panel door,
the upper 2 panels glazed, C20 side lights and broad open porch on square
timber columns; brick dentil eaves cornice with saw-tooth brickwork above;
hipped roof. Interior much modernised: roll-moulded beams in kitchen ceiling,
C17 turned balustrade to staircase, one fully panelled bolection moulded first
floor bedroom.
