House, now houses and shop. c.1770-80,with earlier origins; extended early C19.
Coursed limestone rubble; gabled concrete tile roof; brick ridge and left end
stacks, 3-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. C17 chamfered basement
window. Flat stone arches over central C20 door, C19 three-light casements with
glazing bars to right and over C19 two-light casement and 8-pane sash above C20
shop window to left. Right side wall has keyed cambered stone arch over 6-pane
sash above door with flat stone hood. Early C19 two-storey rear wings and
brewhouse of stone and brick with Welsh slate roofs. Interior: chamfered beams,
open fireplace to right, and C18 ribbed and plank doors. First floor not
inspected.
