House, C17. Limestone rubble with stone slate roof. 3 storeys, 3
bays. Central lobby hall with later stair to rear. Symmetrical
elevation with central oak door in moulded doorcase and label
mould. 3-light ovolo-moulded windows, also with labels, but 2-
light over door, reducing to 1-light on second floor. Similar
windows diminishing by storeys to south gable. External stacks to
rear of rooms either side of centre. 1-storey extension to rear on
right, refurbished in C20.
Interior has moulded stone fireplace to left room, originally the
parlour. Bar stopped beams and two C17 oak doors to right room.
Stone fireplace also to upper floor left room. Roof of 5 bays with
tenoned purlins. Principals tenoned to tie beams which bear on to
gable windows, possibly slightly later alterations.
