Farmhouse, now house. Early to mid-C18 with early C19 addition to front. Coursed
limestone rubble, cement-rendered to front with inscribed rustication. Two-span
roof, with slates to front range and stone slates to rear range. Double-depth
plan, C18 to rear and early C19 to front. Two storeys. Front range with coped
parapeted gable ends and integral brick end stacks with stone offsets and
cornices; rear range with integral stone end stack to left and external stone
end stack to right. Three bays; glazing bar sashes (16-pane to first floor) with
incised voussoirs and central first-floor circular window. Central half-glazed
door (obscured by undergrowth at time of survey - March 1987). Rear: two
first-floor 2-light wooden casements with lintels and 3 ground-floor casements,
2-light to left and one 3-light to right, all with wooden lintels. Old
6-panelled door (top glazed) between first and second windows from right with
rectangular one-light and wooden lintel; C19 or C20 gabled timber porch.
