GV II
Detached house. C17, rebuilt late C18. Rubble stone and challk,
partly rendered, tiled roof with hips to south and coped verge to
north, brick stacks. Gable end to road. Two-storey, 3-windowed
south front at right angles to road. Central 6-panelled door with
transom light in latticed porch, 16-pane flush sash to right, 3-
light steel casement to left. First floor has 16-pane sash either
side of central narrow 4-pane sash. Right return has 2-storey
canted bay with 12-pane sash to ground floor and 9-pane fixed
window to first floor, 2-light steel casement to first floor.
Attic has C20 dormer. Left return has small sashes and casements,
hips on 2-span roof. Rear has late C19 lean-to extension.
Interior not accessible at time of survey (September 1985).
Attached to front are C19 cast-iron railings.
