Lime kiln. Circa 1853. Dressed snecked rock-faced ironstone with rock-faced
quoins. Square plan with battered sides. Central segmental stone arch with
tapered brick intrados. The lime kiln forms part of a former ironstone-mining
and brickworks site on the north-west side of the Oxford and Worcester railway
line. The line was opened in 1853, I.K. Brunel engineer.
