Former farmhouse. Mid to later C18, altered, and with large recent extensions to the rear. Handmade brown brick in Flemish bond (sides and rear rendered), with sandstone dressings and stone slate roof. Double-depth double-fronted plan. Two storeys and attics, 2 windows, symmetrical; the doorway has a pedimented architrave with flat pilasters and a pulvinated frieze; the windows have raised sills and wedge lintels with pseudo voussoirs, and altered glazing. Gable chimneys (both cut down).
INTERIOR: narrow entrance hall with semi-elliptical archway, keystone, fielded panels; dog-legged staircase with closed string, stick balusters and ramped moulded handrail.
