Houses, now shops and offices. C18 and C19 front to C16 core.
Brick; slate roof. No.51: 3 storeys; 4 late C19, 2/2 sashes to
1st and 2nd floors; parapet with coping. Entrance to left:
6-panel door in panelled case under Gothick arched fanlight;
C20 shop front to right. No.49: 4 late C19, 2/2 sashes with
moulded sills and architraves under vermiculated band "E
Bayley & Sons"; two 3/3 sashes in moulded architraves with
keyblocks; rusticated banding to 1st and 2nd floors;
vermiculated quoins; parapet with coping. To right, door in
case with coloured leaded margin-glazing, under arched moulded
pediment on consoles; C20 shop front to left. No.47: moulded
ceiling beams to ground floor. Rear: exposed box-framing;
brick stack; wings to rear. INTERIOR contains extensive C16
moulded ceiling beams. Completely refurbished in 1982-3.
