Fake timber-frame and plaster; old plain tiles.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, attic and cellar; 2-window range: central
half-glazed panelled door to balcony under hipped plain tile
roof, flanked by mullion and transom oriels (altered to
right); mullion windows over; three C20 gabled roof dormers
with casements and pendants.
Early C20 shop front with central recessed door under panelled
soffit, flanked by plate glass windows in moulded cases, with
cast-iron frieze and moulded cornice over; cast-iron supports;
wrought-iron gates and iron posts.
To right, wooden steps to 6-panel door in moulded reveals,
between pilasters. Left returned side: roughcast; moulded
bressumer and old soffit timbers and pierced dragon-bracket to
2nd floor; scattered fenestration, including early C18, 8/8
sash, and 6/6 sash with Gothic glazed head; wood eaves band;
3-light casement to gable with pendant; returned shop front
with canted stone return and arched window; rubble plinth;
early C19, 6-panel door and margin-glazed overlight, in
moulded architrave, with moulded and modillioned wood flat
hood.
INTERIOR: C20 dogleg staircase with stick balusters to 1st
floor; two C19 dogleg staircases with stick balusters, from
ground floor to attic. Attic: 2 panelling doors; plank door;
4-panel doors; C19 panelling; 2-panel doors. 2nd floor: late
C19 fireplace; wall cupboard; 3-panel door; massive framing.
1st floor: C19 fireplace; moulded chamfered ceiling frame with
dragon beam; chamfered ceiling frame; C19 fireplace.
Ground floor: C19 ceiling cornice; dado rail. Cellar: partly
stone-lined; brick vaulted; C19 winder stair with stick
balusters; part-glazed panelled door; ashlar stack base; C19
range and surround; copper.
