House. c1820. Ashlar, rear plastered; hipped tile roof with
ashlar stacks. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; 4-window range.
End pilasters and top cornice. Tetrastyle Tuscan porch,
entrance to right with stained-glass panel, and window to left
with stained-glass horned sash; canted bay window to left end
has cornice and parapet and plate-glass horned sashes; window
to right end has similar sash; 1st floor has 12-pane sashes,
one horned. 2 cross-axial stacks. Right return has 2-storey
bowed bay, 4-light windows with reeded pilasters, projecting
ground floor to right has canted bay window. Rear has 3 hipped
gables, the central one smaller; lateral stack; C20
single-storey addition. INTERIOR: hall has open well stair and
landing balustrade with turned and twisted balusters, and
other c1900 fittings; room to right has Adam-style fireplace
and window shutters.
