Includes: No.34 WESTGATE STREET.
Probable toll house, attached pair of cottages and other
attached cottage. Early C19. Stucco on probable rubble to Nos.
13 and 15; rubble and rendered cob to No.34 Westgate Street
and slatehanging to canted end, rag slate roof with polygonal
end on right; brick axial stack and rendered stack on left.
Double-depth back-to-back plan. Gothic style details. 2
storeys; 3-window range. Original 16-pane 2-light casements
with 4-centred-arched lights; symmetrical 2-window front on
left has central pair of doorways with 4-panel doors within
3-bay open wooden porch with arched bays and rag slate roof;
blind window between windows and to bay on right. 1-window
canted bay to right-hand return with probable original window
over C20 copy. No.34 Westgate Street (at rear) is an overall
4-window range; old 4-panel door on left plus C20 door central
to 3-window range on the right; C20 door central to 3-window
range on the right; C20 windows. INTERIOR not inspected.
Subsidiary features: steps up to porch linked to high rubble
forecourt wall parallel to front and with canted end on right.
