Terrace of 4 suburban houses. Mid C19.
Incised stucco, on probable rubble with plinth and sill
strings; rag slate roof with projecting eaves; 3 rendered
axial stacks and end stack on left; many original pots.
Double-depth plan.
3 storeys; overall 10-window range with 6 central bays (Nos 2
& 3) broken forward. Original 12-pane hornless sashes to upper
floors.
No.1 has lean-to conservatory on left with latticed door with
margin panes; mid/late C19 canted bay on right with modillion
cornice; hornless sashes with glazing bars. No.2 has late C19
canted bay on left with moulded cornice; original 6-panel door
and original sash on right. No.3 has original door and
windows.
Nos 2 & 3 have original porches with double doors, latticed
panes, end pilasters and moulded entablature.
No.4 has original sashes to ground floor of front and doorway.
Right-hand return has projecting 2-storey wing with 4-pane
sash over 12-pane sash over 4-panel door; 12-pane sash right
of doorway and 9-pane sash to 2nd floor left.
INTERIOR not inspected.
Subsidiary features: stone-coped brick walls with
pyramidal-capped piers enclose front gardens.
