Public house. Early C19. Gault brick under slate roof. 2
storeys. South-east 4-window front faces road. Central door in
plain stuccoed surround and under flat hood on scrolled
consoles. Right is a 4-light window with arched glazing. Left
are 2 sashes with 2/2 glazing bars and stucco surrounds with
hoods on scrolled consoles. Four 2/2 sashes to first floor.
Hipped roof with 2 gault brick stacks. South-west front in 4
bays. Door off-set to left between pair of giant stucco
pilasters. 3 ground-floor 6/6 sashes under gauged skewback
arches. Four sashes to first floor with various glazing bar
formations. INTERIOR. Altered and opened out.
