Two houses, now offices. c1804. Yellow stock brick set in Flemish bond with stone sills; gabled artificial slate roofs, brick end-wall stacks to Herbal Hill elevations. Three storeys (Ray Street elevation with raised basement); three-window range to Herbal Hill and two-window range to left-hand return wall in Ray Street.
Both entrances in Herbal Hill: no. 11 with C20 panelled door and plain reveals; no. 1 with C20 shopfront. Gauged-brick flat arches to 8/8 sashes (Ray Street elevation) and 6/6 sashes (Herbal Hill elevation). Brick string courses to Ray Street parapet, others with stone coping.
Stone plaque to left end of Ray Street elevation inscribed: 'This is the boundary of the Parish of St. Andrew, Holborn Eastwards and 18 feet from the Base of this wall is the boundary of the said Parish Northward 1804.'
