Terraced houses. Early C19. Yellow brick set in Flemish bond,
stucco, roof obscured by parapet. Three storeys over basement,
two windows each. Nos 7, 9 and 11 set back by one brick's
thickness. Basement and ground floor stuccoed, the ground
floor decorated with banded rustication. Steps up to
segmental-arched entrance with pilaster jambs, those to nos 3,
5, 7 and 9 reeded with rosette stops (though no 9 has no
stops), fanlights, with decorative glazing on no 13, panelled
doors of original design. Ground-floor windows
segmental-arched, upper windows flat-arched, and all with
recessed 6/6 sashes. First-floor windows have piano nobile
proportions and iron balconies to all except no 1; nos 1-11
have cornices on consoles, nos 13-15 moulded architraves.
Second-floor windows have gauged brick heads on nos 1-11,
moulded architraves on nos 13 and 15. Nos 1 and 3 only have
cornice; parapet and much rebuilding in this area. No l has
two round-arched windows to ground floor and side entrance
with fluted quarter-columns, cornice and overlight. Area
railings with spearhead and some urn finials.
