Farmhouse. Early C18, with early C19 and C20 alterations.
Coursed squared stone, probably with brick front, mostly
rendered. Concrete pantile roof and 2 brick gable stacks.
Plinth, first floor band, cogged eaves, coped gables. 2
storeys plus garrets; 5 window range. L-plan. Windows have
mainly segmental heads. Symmetrical front has five 16-pane
sashes and below, 4 slightly smaller windows. Central ashlar
doorcase with flat hood on scroll brackets and C20 half-glazed
door with glazing bars and overlight. Gables each have a
single garret window. 2 storey rear wing, 3 windows, has
single gable and ridge stacks. Windows are mostly renewed. On
one side, a lower 2 storey lean-to addition.
