3/96 Cleeve Hill House

II

Detached house. Early C18. Dressed limestone, Welsh slate roof, gable end stone
stacks. L-plan with added parallel rear range. Two-storey, 5-window. Central
4-panelled door with flat stone hood on brackets, two cross windows either side.
Continuous moulded string course to first floor; five 2-light beaded mullioned
casements, lintel string course and eaves band. Left return has half-glazed
door and 3-light beaded mullioned casement to left, first floor with pair of
12-pane sashes inserted into former mullioned windows, two single-light attic
casements. Interior not accessible at time of survey (May 1987).
