Farmhouse. Early C18 and c1772, with later alterations. Diaper
brick with thatched roof. Two storeys. Two bays at east end,
early C18, linked to third bay connecting to cross wing against
road, formerly a malthouse, now one bay of former kiln house.
Original building has plat band and door at left end with a gabled
open porch. Timber casement windows. Link bay similarly glazed.
Kiln house of 2 bays with high ground floor with glazed porch on
south side added C20. Stacks at junction of kilnhouse and link
bay, and to east gable end. Outshut to rear of early building.
Scratched date 1772 on brickwork of malthouse, the rear bay of
which has been removed.
Interior: kilnhouse retains original lath and plaster and tile
hung substructure to roof ventilator enclosed beneath later roof.
