House, formerly an inn. 2 storey timber framed and plastered, roofs
tiled, cross wing North and South. Main block has central gable
projecting on shaped brackets, and with decorated barge-boards with
pointed finial. It has a carved bressumer with date and initials A
1649 E. Ground floor, main block has central entry (later date) with
small modern gable to match other gables. The cross wings have
projecting upper storeys on front on shaped brackets. The gables have
decorated barge-boards and pointed finials. All windows and doors are
modern. NMR photos.
