Row of late C17 or early C18 cottages mostly of painted brick, although No
268 has a weatherboarded north wing of separate build. 2 storeys, 7 windows
in all. No 268 has had front wall recased, roof recovered and a canted oriel
bay added. Nos 270 and 272 have hipped tiled roof partly concealed by parapet;
and 2 full height canted bays with hipped, tiled roofs. Windows are early
Cl9 sashes. No 270 has a rear addition of circa 1840 with a French door with
margin lights.
