Public house. C14 with later alterations. Rendered timber framing; old
plain-tile roof; brick ridge stacks with massive stack to right. 2 storey,
3-window range. 6-panel door to right of centre with flat hood. Three 3-light
casements. Two 2-light casements to first floor centre and right. Cross-gables
to centre and right. Left return of irregular timber framing with jowelled
main-posts. Interior: jointed base crucks in the alternating roof trusses.
Arched wind-braces. Some timber-framing visible to public areas; other exposed
features include an ogee-headed door. Probably C18 cross-gabled wing to right.
